Service Tax Department has released the templates for E-Filling of the Half Yearly Service Tax Return for the period from 01-10-2012 to 31-03-2013 and onwards.
The last date for filling the return of HY 2 of 2012-13 is 31-08-2013.
The templates have been amended to incorporate the new negative list regime under the Service Tax after 01-07-2013 and the assessees are advised to carefully evaluate the information that needs to be filled in order to avoid mistakes.
