EXCISE DUTY ON READYMADE GARMENTS – BUDGET 2016
The budget for the F. Y. 2016-17 has proposed imposition of Central Excise Duty on Branded Readymade Garments with Retail Sale Price (RSP) of Rs. 1000/- and above.
We are noting below a brief summary of applicable provisions of Central Excise on Readymade Garments post imposition of this Duty:-
