Rajasthan Ratan Award Function was organised on 12-04-2015 by the Rajasthani Association of Tamil Nadu at the Music Academy Auditorium in Chennai. The event was a splendid show with the grandeur and warmth of the Rajasthani Culture and Heritage. There was a presence of about 1500 eminent Rajasthanis from all across Tamil Nadu.
The event was presided over as Chief Guest by Sh. Kali Charan Ji Saraf, H’ble Minister, Technical, Sanskrit, Higher Education, Sainik Kalyan and Science & Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan, Guest of Honour Sh. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Renowned Poet, Writer & Mentor and Deputy Chief of Protocol, Government of Rajasthan and Guest of Honour Justice Panachand Ji Jain, Eminent Social Activist and Retired Judge of Rajasthan High Court.
The ‘Rajasthan Ratan’ award has been conferred to Sh. S. S. Goenka and Sh. Ugam Chand S. D. and the ‘Rajasthan Shree’ award has been conferred to Sh. Ajit Kumar Chordia, Sh. Indra Raj Bansal and Sh. Sudeep Jain IAS.
It was my pleasure to be felicitated as a Guest of Honour by the Chair and be part of this grand event by the Rajasthani’s residing in Tamil Nadu.
